Hi, I’m Devon.
The Registered Dietitian who puts dessert in your meal plan.
Why I became a dietitian
I became a dietitian because I believe food is so much more than fuel. It’s nourishing, yes, but it should also be a source of enjoyment, connection, and fun. For so many women, trying to eat healthily feels like a constant failure, but I know firsthand there’s a better way.
I spent my early years as a dietitian helping people connect their health goals to what really mattered to them, whether that was crushing their first marathon, managing their blood sugar, or recovering from an eating disorder. Along the way, I noticed that women were consistently underserved by standard nutrition advice. “Lose weight” and “calories in, calories out” doesn’t account for hormonal fluctuations, specific nutrient needs, life stage, or how female bodies actually work, so it’s no surprise that blanket advice wasn’t working. Women needed a different approach.
Believe it or not, I’m a recovering “wellness girlie.” I had a Pinterest board full of workouts and meal plans. I was always on a new strict diet that cut out my favorite foods. I deluded myself into thinking black coffee was filling. I ate as little as possible all day, then would eat a bag of shredded cheese over the sink at 9pm when I got a case of the “screw-its.”
So you already know I won’t judge.
It wasn’t until I got my Bachelor’s and then my Master’s in Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh that I realized my version of “health” wasn’t healthy at all, it was misery. Eating well looks different for every person, and the best diet is the one you actually enjoy, the one that actually feels easy to stick to.
Why I understand what you’re going through
When I became pregnant for the first time, I got a whole new perspective on what many of my patients experience. With severe nausea and vomiting for all nine months, eating well, or exercising at all, was an uphill battle like never before.
Now, as a mom, workouts that used to be on my own schedule are often crammed into naptime on limited sleep, and meal prepping is more essential than ever. It’s a daily reminder of why this work matters: whether or not motherhood is part of your story, women navigate challenges that deserve specialized care, not generic advice. You’re worthy of someone in your corner, reminding you that taking care of yourself isn’t selfish, no matter what stage of life you’re in.
What I offer isn’t another plan to grind through. It’s steady, personal support that fits what your body actually needs and doesn’t ask you to go back to war with it. Just you and me, at a pace that holds.
If any of this sounds like you, I’d love to talk.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
I don’t bill insurance directly. Staying private pay is what lets me keep my caseload small and give each woman real time and attention, instead of the rushed, one-size-fits-all visits insurance tends to push toward. I’m happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. If cost is on your mind, we can talk it through on our first call.
Where are you licensed to work?
I work virtually with women in Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida. If you’re outside those states, reach out anyway. My licensing may have expanded by the time you’re reading this, and I’m glad to point you toward someone if I’m not able to help directly.
What if I’ve tried everything and nothing has worked?
Then you’re in exactly the right place. Most of the women I work with come to me tired and skeptical, sure they’re the exception. The reason things haven’t worked usually isn’t you. It’s that you were handed rules to follow instead of real, personal support. That’s what I do differently.
How does the virtual part actually work?
We meet over HIPAA-safe video from wherever you’re comfortable, no commute, no waiting room. You’ll have a private space to check in, ask questions, and do the real work between sessions with me in your corner. Most women find it easier to be honest about food from their own kitchen table anyway.
How long until I feel better?
It depends on you and your situation, so I can't promise a timeline. What I’ll say is that this isn’t a quick fix or another plan to grind through. It’s the last time you’ll have to figure this out, done in a way that actually sticks. Many women feel relief just after our first conversation.
